The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to a range of accounts, ensuring all customer needs are met with professionalism, accuracy, and urgency. This is a varied, fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
Managing incoming orders and acknowledging them
Responding to customer queries and requests, aiming for resolution
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for each customer account
Providing updates on order status and expected lead times
Proactively communicating with customers regarding any delays or issues
Handling customer complaints and coordinating investigations and timely responses
Sending regular reports on open orders, stock levels, and back orders
Offering alternative solutions or products where applicable
Ensuring all emails are acknowledged
Scheduling and leading regular account reviews with customers
Keeping CRM systems updated with all customer interactions
The Ideal Candidate

Previous customer service experience in an office-based setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and the ability to prioritise under pressure
